I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the information available to the inspector of taxes, there is no repayment due to the taxpayer. A review of the liability for the year 1982-83 revealed an underpayment, which will be collected by reducing the taxpayer's tax-free allowances in the year 1984-85.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the information supplied, they are unable to trace the taxpayer in their records. If the name of the tax office which deals with the taxpayer and the appropriate serial number are supplied, the matter will be examined.
