Vol. 345 No. 3

Written Answers. - County Wexford National School.

307.

asked the Minister for Finance when the balance of moneys due in respect of Galbally national school, County Wexford, will be paid.

The central heating installation at Galbally national school, County Wexford, has been inspected. The inspection revealed that the construction of the boiler house chimney is not to a satisfactory standard and the manager will be advised at an early date on what needs to be done before a grant can be paid for this work. The Office of Public Works also require to be satisfied that defects in the boiler control panel which have been drawn to the attention of the manager of the school have been made good.

There is a balance of grant of about £160 outstanding in respect of the provision of a prefabricated classroom at the school and this will be paid when a number of defects in the heating and lighting systems which have been brought to the attention of the manager have been made good.
