asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a grant under the land reclamation scheme was not sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.
As the work in this case was carried out without the prior written approval of the farm development service it is not eligible for grant aid.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a land reclamation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and when the grant will be paid.
This person's application under the Programme for Western Development will be investigated shortly and if the project is feasible a scheme of work will be prepared. Grant aid would be payable on satisfactory completion of the work.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a farm modernisation scheme grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The local office of the Department has not been notified that the work has been completed. In order to qualify for the development rate of grant, the work will require to be satisfactorily completed on 19 November 1983, the termination date of the farm plan. If the work is not completed by 31 December 1983, a grant will not be payable.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a land project grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.
