asked the Minister for Education the present position concerning the extension to Slievadra national school, Ballyduff, County Kerry.

My Department have agreed in principle to grant-aid a general purposes area and a classroom by way of an extension to Slievadra national school, Ballyduff, County Kerry, and sketch plans have been prepared by the Commissioners of Public Works. A site extension will be necessary and the school chairman is at present endeavouring to acquire additional land.

My Department are considering a proposal that the project should proceed in two stages, viz., that the general purposes area be provided first, followed by the classroom. When a decision has been reached, the school chairman will be advised.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the extension to Ballyduff national school, Ballyduff, County Kerry.

The question of releasing the project for the proposed extension to Ballyduff national school, County Kerry, to tender is at present under consideration in my Department. As soon as a decision is taken my Department will write to the Commissioners of Public Works and the school chairman in the matter.

asked the Minister for Education the present position concerning the extension to the Killahan national school, Abbeydorney, County Kerry.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that the preparation of working drawings for the extension to the Killahan national school, Abbeydorney, County Kerry, is in hands.
