When Donegal Exchange is converted to automatic working day staff who opt to continue in the employment of the Department will be offered alternative employment in exchanges designated to remain in service. Night staff will have their services terminated and they will be paid compensation in accordance with an agreement negotiated under the Conciliation and Arbitration Scheme. Day staff who opt to terminate their appointments will also be compensated in accordance with that agreement.
