Vol. 345 No. 11

Written Answers. - Telephone Service.

349.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide a second telephone kiosk at Commodore Barry Park housing estate, Rosslare Strand, County Wexford.

The provision of an additional kiosk at Rosslare Strand to serve Commodore Barry Park is not regarded as warranted at present and it is not proposed therefore to provide one there.

350.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone kiosk will be provided at Lowerbraghy, Malin Head, County Donegal.

It is planned to provide a telephone kiosk at Lowerbraghy under the guarantee scheme.

It will be erected as soon as the necessary consents to a suitable site have been received and the legal agreement completed.

351.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

Service will be provided for the person named as soon as it is possible to do so, but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed for about a year.

I very much regret the delay in providing telephone service. However, by the end of 1984, the vast bulk of applications will be met on demand.

352.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin as he is disabled and is in constant need of medical attention.

Service will be provided for the person named as soon as it is possible to do so, but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed for about six months.

I very much regret the delay. However, by the end of 1984, the vast bulk of applications will be met on demand.

353.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will ensure that a telephone service is restored without delay to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.
