As the cost of this scheme on the basis of the proposal submitted by the local authority is considered high, the local authority have been asked to consider a number of economies where cost reductions appear feasible.
I can assure the Deputy that on receipt of their reply there will be no avoidable delay in conveying a decision to the county council on their proposal.
