A capital grant of £186,000 has been allocated to Beara Sports and Recreation Hall Committee towards the construction of a community recreation centre at Castletownbere subject to compliance with the terms and conditions of my Department's community, youth, recreational and employment programme.
These terms and conditions have now been complied with and it has been decided to confirm the grant allocation in this case to enable the commencement of construction work on the project. My Department have issued formal notification to this effect to the committee.
