As explained in reply to question No. 9 of 24 February last, it is a matter for the local authority to take action in this case. I am informed that Dublin County Council have requested their law agent to take proceedings under section 27 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1976, in regard to the unauthorised use of land at Foxrock Park. They hope to have the proceedings before the court in January. I understand also that the county council propose to offer housing accommodation at Ballyboden to the 12 families in question.
