asked the Minister for Finance the plans his Department has to provide a new Garda station at Tallaght, County Dublin.
I propose to answer Questions Nos. 321 and 322 together.
Terms have been agreed with Dublin Corporation for the purchase of a site at Tallaght for the erection of a new Garda station.
We are awaiting ratification from Dublin Corporation of the terms agreed. These are due for discussion by the city council at their next meeting. When the purchase is completed arrangements will be made to have the planning of the new station carried out as quickly as possible.
