The following is the information required: (a) the number of persons in receipt of rent allowances under the powers given in the Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Act 1982 to date is 468; (b) the highest weekly rent allowance in payment so far is £57, the lowest is £1.30; (c) the estimated cost of the scheme in 1983 is £350,000; (d) the estimated cost of the scheme for the full year is £2 million.
