I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's liabilities for the years 1981-82 and 1982-83 were reviewed on 5 December 1983, to take account of full interest relief claimed and the additional child allowance due. The reviews revealed a net underpayment which will be collected by restricting the tax-free allowances for the year 1984-85.
