Under the terms of the school transport scheme it is necessary, in order to warrant the establishment of a post-primary school transport service, that there should be a minimum of seven eligible pupils living within an area which can be reasonably and economically served by a bus route. According to my information this condition is not fulfilled at present in relation to the school refered to by the Deputy.
