Vol. 347 No. 6

Written Answers. - Darndale (Dublin) National Schools.

347.

asked the Minister for Education how soon it is proposed to update classroom accommodation at Darndale national school, Dublin, bearing in mind the current circumstances; and if she will outline the details of the proposals formulated and agreed.

It is proposed to extend Darndale national school by two classrooms and a general purposes room and to replace eight existing prefabricated classrooms which will be needed for short-term use by new units.

I understand the Commissioners of Public Works await submission of a sketch scheme by the school authorities. It is too early at this stage to say when work will commence.
