Vol. 347 No. 8

Written Answers. - Connemara National Park.

251.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will instruct the Office of Public Works not to introduce entrance fees for visitors to Connemara National Park, Letterfrack, County Galway.

The facilities being provided for visitors to Connemara National Park include a personal guide/information service, an audio visual presentation, information leaflet, car parking, toilets, etc.

It is a policy of long standing to impose a charge towards the cost of providing such services where practicable. I am satisfied that the extension of this policy to Connemara National Park is the correct one.
