The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for a report on the applicant's eligibility for a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if the maximum improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
The application in this case was for the provision of a bathroom, sewerage facilities and the carrying out of necessary repairs to the basic fabric of the house.
The maximum grant of £600 in respect of necessary repairs, has been approved and this grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the work has been satisfactorily completed.
The application for grants in respect of bathroom and sewerage facilities has been cancelled as a disabled person's grant has already been approved by the local authority in respect of these works. The applicant has been so informed.
