While the plans for the works originally sanctioned at this school were being prepared inclusion of additional works was requested and revised plans had to be drawn up. The Department of Education sanctioned a grant for the additional works in May 1983 and the works were completed in September 1983.
Due to an industrial dispute in relation to certification of such works it is not at present possible to pay the grant in respect of the improvements at this school.
