asked the Minister for Agriculture when subsidies under the calf/heifer scheme and the calf/premium schemes will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

My Department are unable to trace receipt of any application under the 1983 calved heifer scheme from the person named who did, however, apply for premium under the 1983 EEC suckler cow scheme but was deemed ineligible because she sold her cows before the six months period for retention of cows specified in that scheme expired.

She will be paid calf premium as soon as the batch which includes her payment is processed.

406.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a disadvantaged sheep subsidy payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

The person named has been paid his sheep headage grant under the 1983 disadvantaged areas schemes already.

He will be paid first instalment of ewe premium under scheme of premiums for good quality ewes 1983-84 as soon as the batch which includes his payment is processed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a headage grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Clare.

The two persons named will be paid cattle headage grants and calf premium as soon as the batches which include their payments are processed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons a reclamation grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which he will be paid; the amount that will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The grant of £6,720 will be paid shortly together with a number of other grants certified about the same time.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons a calf subsidy has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the amount that will be paid; the date on which it will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named will be paid £208.98 calf premium as soon as the batch which includes his payment is processed. This payment is being made with many others. There is no particular delay.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons various grants have not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the description and amount of each grant to be paid; the date on which they will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named will be paid £198.40 cattle headage grant and £23.22 calf premium as soon as the batches which include these payments are processed. These payments are being made with many others. There is no particular delay.

He also applied under 1983 suckler cow scheme for £50.18 premium on two cows but was deemed ineligible for payment on his own admission that his off-farm income exceeded his on-farm income.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange for cattle headage grants to be paid immediately to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person named will be paid his cattle headage grant under the 1983 disadvantaged areas schemes as soon as the batch which includes his payment is processed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in payment of a farm building grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

There is no record of an outstanding application for a farm buildings grant from this applicant.
