A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible. Payment of the mortgage subsidy cannot commence until the grant has been paid.

Payment of a grant has been deferred in this case pending the outcome of an application by the person named to Wexford County Council under the disabled person's grant scheme. My Department are also awaiting evidence of planning permission which was requested from the applicant in August 1982.
