Vol. 348 No. 8

Written Answers. - Military Disability Pension.

391.

asked the Minister for Defence the reason a military disability pension was not awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Cork despite the fact that the Army pension board are reported to have awarded a 48 per cent disability pension in the case retrospective to date of retirement.

The officer in question submitted an application for a disability pension under the Army Pensions Acts. The application was not successful. I am, however, having a fresh look at the case and I will get in touch with the Deputy as soon as possible.
