Expenditure to date by Córas Tráchtála on grants under the Employment Support Scheme totals £1,279,596 and this has resulted in the placement of 90 export marketing-sales personnel by Irish firms in overseas locations. During 1984 CTT hope to place an additional 25 executives under the scheme. As negotiations with applicant companies are still continuing it would be inappropriate to divulge any of their names at this stage.
