Vol. 348 No. 11

Written Answers. - General Medical Services.

441.

asked the Minister for Health whether all students who are EEC nationals between the ages of 16 and 25 are entitled to general medical services.

There are EEC regulations which relate to the provision of health services for EEC nationals while they are in an EEC country other than their home country. In accordance with these Regulations a qualified student from a member state, other than Ireland, is entitled to receive general medical services while residing in Ireland.
