A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is completed and occupied and complies with all other conditions governing the grant scheme. An inspection will soon be carried out in this case.

A house improvement grant cannot be paid in this case because, contrary to the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), notification of completion of work and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981. A sewerage grant was paid to the applicant on 30 April 1981.
