The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that there can be no refund of tax under PAYE for the year 1982-83 or 1983-84 in this case until the question of unpaid final liabilities for the years 1979-80 to 1981-82 has been settled. The inspector of taxes will be writing to the taxpayer's agent setting out the position.
