asked the Minister for the Environment if a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This grant will be paid shortly.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange with his group water scheme engineer to carry out final inspections on the Clouncagh and district water schemes with a view to having whatever grants are due paid.

Arrangements are being made to have the domestic supplies in this scheme inspected as quickly as posible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a house improvement grant under the old scheme paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who insists that she complied with all regulations under that particular grant scheme.

There are a number of applications from persons of this surname with broadly similar addresses. In the absence of the applicant's first name, it is not possible to confirm whether the Deputy's question relates to any of these cases.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a certificate of exemption issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, as the application has been made for some time.

There has been no undue delay. The application for a certificate of exemption in this case was received in my Department on 5 March 1984 and the certificate issued to the person named on 21 March 1984.
