The location referred to is part of the Cork city area. It is not always possible in city areas for pupils at post-primary level to obtain places in their immediate locality. In the case of the locality in question many pupils obtain places in other schools in Cork city each year.
An inspector of my Department is being asked to have the particular difficulty referred to in the question investigated.
