asked the Minister for Health the ratio of dentists to population in the Cavan/Monaghan community care area.

In 1983 the dentist-population ratio in the Cavan-Monaghan community care area was one dentist per 8,081 population.

asked the Minister for Health the ratio of dentists to population in this country for (a) children and (b) adults.

The dentist-population ratio in Ireland in 1983 was (a) one dentist per 1,109 children: (b) one dentist per 2,334 adults.

asked the Minister for Health the World Health Organisation's recommendation on the ratio of dentists to population for (a) children and (b) adults.

There are no WHO recommendations on dentist-population ratios.
