I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has received no formal claim from the taxpayer for a repayment of tax in respect of the year 1983-84. The inspector has written to the taxpayer requesting her form P.45 (cessation certificate) and, on receipt of same, the claim will be processed without further delay.
