The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the balance of the information required by the inspector of taxes to enable him to review the taxpayer's liability for 1983-84 was not supplied by the taxpayer until 19 April 1984. The review has now been carried out and a cheque in settlement of his claim will be issued to the taxpayer in the near future.
