This application for a new house grant was rejected because the floor area of the house exceeds the maximum area allowable for grant purposes which is 125 sq. m. (1,346 sq.ft.).

asked the Minister for the Environment the position with regard to the application for a housing reconstruction grant made by a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if this person has been given permission to begin work.
There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from a person of the name and address supplied. I would, however, refer the Deputy to my reply of 11 April 1984 to a question put down by him which related to an application from a person with the same name and a broadly similar address.
