Vol. 350 No. 5

529.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

This grant has been paid.

530.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a new house grant and mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

It is a condition of the mortgage subsidy scheme that subsidy payments cannot be made until after the grant has been paid. The grant will be paid shortly in this case and arrangements will then be made to pay the first instalments of the mortgage subsidy to the person named.

531.

asked the Minister for the Environment the position with regard to the application for a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This application was refused because it was not established, in accordance with the provision of the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), that the work had been satisfactorily completed by 30 June 1981.

532.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

When this applicant notifies my Department that certain outstanding works have been carried out, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.
