The only changes to the list of persons set out in reply to the Deputy's parliamentary question on 15 November 1983 are the inclusion of Mrs. Mary Cowen, widow of the late Deputy Bernard Cowen, who is in receipt of a pension of one-half of her late husband's entitlement i.e. £2,644.49; and the deletion of Mrs. Ann Gallagher, Mr. Patrick Finucane, Mr. Seán MacEntee, Mr. Tom O'Hara and Mr. Fintan Kennedy since deceased.
The amounts payable are as in the previous reply, as revised by (1) the terms of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial, Parliamentary and Judicial Offices (Amendment) Act, 1983, and (2) the terms of the second phase increase under the 1983 public service pay agreement.
