I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the article involved, which is a motor lorry, was seized by officers of customs and excise on the grounds that it was irregularly in the State.
Detailed investigations are being carried out in connection with the seizure. The Revenue Commissioners will write to the person in question conveying their decision regarding the disposal of the vehicle when these investigations are completed and legal advice has been taken in the case.
