Before Question Time——

Nothing arises before Question Time.

I wish to give notice that I intend to raise a matter on the Adjournment.

If the Deputy cannot wait I will accept notice now.

Of course, I can wait.

We do not normally have anything before questions but if the Deputy has an exceptional——

Perhaps it would save time if I told the Chair what it was.

Then he could rule it out of order.

This is a small matter. I looked at Standing Orders and they do not provide a time before or after which this must be raised. I have heard it done before.

I am ruling that I will not accept it until after Question Time.
