asked the Minister for Health the total number of children in foster care in each health board area at present; and the number of such children that are (a) legitimate or (b) illegitimate; and the number that have been in foster care for (i) five years or more; (ii) eight years or more; and (iii) ten years or more.

asked the Minister for Health the total number of children in residential care in each health board area at present; the number that are (a) legitimate or (b) illegitimate; and the total number who have been in care for (i) five years or more; (ii) eight years or more; and (iii) ten years or more.

458.

asked the Minister for Health the total number of children placed with foster parents by health boards in each health board area in each of the last three years.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 456 to 458, inclusive, together.

I am setting out in tabular form the most up-to-date information available to my Department in relation to children in residential care and foster care.
