The all-Irish school in Leixlip, County Kildare, which was established in 1979, is currently housed in temporary accommodation. My Department recently concluded negotiations for the purchase of an existing national school premises in Leixlip with a view to its adaptation and if necessary enlargement so as to provide permanent accommodation for the all-Irish school. Officers of my Department recently discussed the question of initiating the architectural planning of the adaptation works.
