The South Eastern Regional Tourism Organisation are at present acquiring a site adjacent to Jerpoint Abbey and it is their intention to transfer this site to the Commissioners of Public Works for the provision of visitor reception facilities, including toilets. As the acquisition and full development of the site could take a number of years to complete, temporary toilet facilities are at present being provided by the Commissioners in association with SERTO. The temporary toilets should be in operation by mid-November 1984.
