Vol. 352 No. 10

Written Answers. - Disability Allowance.

382.

asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Dublin was taken off disabled maintenance allowance without a medical examination.

The payment of a DPMA to the person concerned was discontinued by the Eastern Health Board on means grounds as a result of compensation received for injuries sustained in the car accident from which the disability arose. He was, however, also medically examined but was found not to meet the requirements specified in the Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) Regulations, 1984.
