I approved Cork County Council's proposal for the acceptance of a tender for the treatment plant of the Tower-Blarney sewerage scheme on 4 October 1984. The local authority's proposal for the acceptance of a tender for the pipeline contract for the scheme is under examination in my Department and I hope to be in a position to convey a decision to the local authority in the matter very shortly.
