asked the Minister for Finance if employment agencies are being used by his Department to recruit workers on a full-time or part-time basis; if his Department have used agency staff in the past 12 months and for what grade of worker, i.e. manual clerical, technical; and if he will state in respect of such staff over the last 12 months, (a) the name of the agencies; (b) the number of staff hired; (c) the cost per head to the State and (d) the total amount paid by his Department.

Employment agencies are not being used at present and have not been used in the past 12 months by my Department or offices under the aegis of my Department to recruit staff on a full-time or part-time basis.
