asked the Minister for the Environment in view of the large number of rural cottages ready for tender in County Donegal when an allocation of funds will be made available to enable these houses to be advertised; and if a request for such allocation has been made by Donegal County Council.
Written Answers. - County Donegal Rural Cottages.
Mr. Coughlan
No formal request for an additional allocation in respect of rural cottages has been made to my Department by Donegal County Council. However, a review of the capital available to each local authority for their house building programmes is at present being undertaken. Until such time as this examination is completed, I will not be in a position to say whether further funds will be allocated to Donegal County Council.

Mr. Coughlan
asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal whose house has been completed and occupied since May, 1984.
A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. The occupier was not at home when an inspector called during August and an inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
