Vol. 353 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Dublin National School.

665.

asked the Minister for Education if she will state in respect of the proposed new national school at Kilininny, Ballycragh, County Dublin: (i) at what stage the plans are; (ii) when it will open; (iii) how many pupils it will cater for; and (iv) the cost of the school.

My Department has under consideration an application for grant assistance for the erection of a new national school to cater for the Kilininny, Ballycragh area of County Dublin. The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to inspect the site which is on offer for the new school. If the site is suitable the school authorities will be authorised to prepare a sketch scheme. It is not possible at this stage to say when the school will open or what its cost will be. The school will cater for upwards of 535 pupils, ultimately.
