As the Deputy is aware from my reply to a parliamentary question by him on 17 May 1984 the erection of an additional classroom at Scoil Íde, Salthill, County Galway, is in the hands of an architect in private practice who has been engaged by the manager of the school.
Revised sketch plans which have been prepared by the manager's architect have been approved by the Office of Public Works and sent to the Department of Education for consideration and the sanction of a grant has been recommended.
It is not possible, at this stage, to say when the erection of the classroom will commence.
