It is normal practice for officers of my Department to meet with representatives of voluntary hospitals for discussions on budgetary issues if such meetings are sought by the hospital authorities. Arrangements have been made to meet with two voluntary hospitals on the issue mentioned by the Deputy, viz. The Mater Hospital on 7 November and St. James's Hospital on 15 November.
