The applications of schools for remedial teaching posts are examined by my Department and posts are allocated to the schools from the available allocation of teachers in accordance with a priority of need.
The application received from St. Brigid's National School, Brookfield, Tallaght, for the appointment of a remedial teacher is under examination in my Department and will be considered in the circumstances obtaining in relation to the creation of any such posts for the 1984-85 school year.
