Mr. Kenny

asked the Taoiseach the number of Catholic or other marriages accorded in the age groups 16-17 years, 17-18 years, 18-19 years, 19-20 years, 20-21 years, for each of the past five years.

The Taoiseach

The following tables classify for the years 1978 to 1982, Catholic and other marriages by (a) age of groom and (b) age of bride. A marriage in any year where both groom and bride are under 21 years of age will be included in both the column for grooms and the column for brides.
