I have not received an application from Galway Chamber of Commerce and Industry for grant assistance for airport development at Oranmore, County Galway. The Government have, however, undertaken to provide grant assistance towards the development of Carnmore Airport, County Galway. The assistance would be subject to an upper limit of 75 per cent of a total estimated cost of £1.25 million i.e. £937,500, and would be subject to compliance with certain conditions laid down by my Department.
