Persons who lose their employment through no fault of their own would normally qualify for unemployment benefit and pay-related supplement if they satisfy the contribution conditions.
A number of employees of the firm named by the Deputy have claimed unemployment benefit in respect of the period 12 November 1984 to 17 November 1984.
Inquiries are being made to establish whether they satisfy the conditions for receipt of benefit and when the inquiries are completed entitlement will be determined.
