The processing of the farm profile forms was delayed by a form of industrial action engaged in by the staff associations concerned who objected to an apparent increase in their work-load at a time when the numbers employed in the civil service were reduced. Following negotiations with the staff interests, the industrial action has been ended and these forms are now being processed.
