I have received representations from the Fettercairn community council, Tallaght, who are in the process of building a youth and community centre with the assistance of the AnCO community youth training programme. Funds have been made available under the National Plan for the provision of community and recreational facilities over the period 1985-1987. Assistance is not given from such funds towards the purchase of materials for projects being built under the community youth training programme. I have arranged a meeting between the Fettercairn community council and officials of my Department to discuss the matter fully.
